We are pleased to share you the ground-breaking ceremony of PT ALBA Tridi Plastics Recycling Indonesia for their first food grade rPET production facility located in Kendal Industrial Park, Central Java on 6th June 2023.

PT ALBA Tridi Plastics Recycling Indonesia is a subsidiary of ALBA Group Asia which is globally renowned for its top-quality recycling and waste management solutions. ALBA is pleased to have partnered with ADB to build and operate this new facility in accordance with the highest technical and social standards.

This important event is one of Meinhardt Indonesia’s great successes and achievements in managing industrial manufacturing projects across Indonesia.

The new facility will house state-of-the-art equipment capable of processing PET beverage bottles and transforming them into high-quality rPET flakes and food-grade rPET pellets. The advanced technology can produce approximately 36,000 tons of recycled PET annually, including food-grade recycled PET.

ALBA is committed to safeguarding the local environment through responsible resource management and the protection of the local environment. The factory has been designed to minimize air emissions, and advanced water treatment processes have been integrated to ensure the safe discharge of water into the estate drainage system.

For the ALBA project, Meinhardt Indonesia is providing Architectural, Civil, Structural, MEP Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project and Construction Management Services.
