Inspired by the preservation of the sacred Banyan Tree within the site boundary, the new British Embassy has been thoughtfully designed to integrate a wide range of environmental measures to meet the recommendations of being Carbon Neutral.

They include the choice of sustainable construction materials, reductions in energy use through the installation of low energy light fittings and water conservation from rainwater harvesting and reuse.

As the building consultant, Meinhardt provides civil, structural and MEP engineering input for the sustainable development of the embassy.
